Kelleigh Stewart is the co-founder of Big Island Coffee Roasters located in Hilo, HI. Big Island Coffee Roasters has a roastery, production studio, along with a mill and farm in Kona on the big island. You can experience the whole farm to cup experience at Big Island Coffee Roasters. You will start at their Wood Valley farm in Ka'u. This farm has a lot of different varieties of coffee ranging from Moragogipe, Caturra, Geisha, and Typica. You will learn about the different ways to process coffee and also experience dry milling, grading, and optical sorting. Ending with a roasting experience and allowing all the Pono Collective students to enjoy the cup of coffee they viewed at the farm.
Kelleigh loves that the coffee industry brings together a lot of holistic magic of the world and connects us with our natural environment. She's thrilled to meet you all for Pono Collective!
