Carbon Neutrality (or Carbon Neutral) refers to the concept of offsetting or balancing the amount of CO2 (carbon dioxide) that is produced. For example, in the coffee supply chain, CO2 is emitted during farming, processing, transportation, roasting, and brewing.

Founded in 2014, Legacy Trees is a non-profit organization that works to preserve Hawaii's forests, protect Hawaii's endangered species, sequester carbon, and recharge watersheds.
