This cozy cafe offered not only a much-needed caffeine fix but also a chance to stock up on some exceptional bags of specialty coffee. Next, we headed to Cloudrest Farm in the Ka’u district, where we were warmly welcomed by Delvin Navarro, a fifth-generation coffee farmer. Delvin shared the story of his family’s deep roots in the coffee industry and their dedication to innovation in a competitive market.
As we wandered through the farm, we were treated to a rare sight: delicate coffee flowers blooming alongside ripening cherries. It was a beautiful moment that reminded us of the intricate work and care that goes into each cup of coffee. 🌱A Tasty Lunch Break at Miranda Farms
Lunch brought us to Miranda Farms (@mirandafarmscoffee), a multi-award-winning gem known for its exceptional coffee. While savoring iced lattes from their cafe, we indulged in mouthwatering tacos and pupusas from El Encanto Food Truck (@elencantofoodtruckllc), parked conveniently outside.

Our coffee-filled day concluded at the roastery of Mark Kove, founder of White Nene Coffee Roasters (@whitenenecoffee). Mark, a national coffee roasting finalist, walked us through his workshop, sharing his passion for supporting local farms and experimenting with new ideas.
