Late Night Shoot Turns Into a Coffee Bag Chase

We set out to film a quick late night shoot for the “bringing back from the dead” social trend. It was supposed to be simple. A coffee bag in front of the camera, a few spooky angles, then done. Instead, our bag vanished, reappeared behind our teammate Kimmy, and kicked off a chase through the Savor Brands office. The final shot cuts on a cliffhanger, and yes, we are still a little shaken.

The Setup

It started as a fun after-hours photo shoot. We staged our Possessed Evil Coffee bag under studio lights. The room was quiet. The camera was rolling. Then the bag was gone. No rustle. No thud. Just gone. Kimmy turned around and froze. The bag was behind her. She grabbed it, snapped a photo, and we all laughed it off. That should have been the end.

The Glitch That Was Not a Glitch

Back at the desk, Kimmy opened the shot in Photoshop to adjust the lighting. The lights in the room flickered. The screen dimmed for a second. When it came back, the bag in the photo was missing. Layers looked normal. The file was fine. The subject was not.

The Chase

We split up and checked the office. Someone spotted movement near the sample racks. The bag slid across the floor and slipped around a corner. We followed, phones up, getting whatever clips we could. What we caught:
  • A shadow that did not match the room
  • A shuffle sound near the conference room
  • A clean shot of the bag tilting itself upright
  • The bag vanishing from one frame to the next

Possessed or Prank

We like a good prank as much as anyone, but this felt different. The movement was smooth. The timing did not match any string trick. And the Photoshop moment was the strangest part. We checked cables, bulbs, and the camera log. Nothing explains the missing bag in the file.
